AsarNews, Bekasi — Thousands of sacrificial animals from the Heroes of Goodness have been successfully distributed to various areas to provide food for those in need, both domestically and internationally, from the days of Eid al-Adha until the last day of Tashreeq.

One of the distributions took place at Masjid Sophia in Jatiwarna, Bekasi. The distribution was carried out by performing the qurban cutting together with the mosque committee and volunteers from the Indonesian Volunteer Action Unit (Ksatria) on Friday (June 30th). For the 1444 H Eid al-Adha, Asar Humanity provided one cow to Masjid Sophia, which would be distributed to the community in the mosque's surrounding area and served as a meal for the mosque's congregation during the Qurban Feast held after Friday prayers.

Asar Humanity provided 230 kg of meat for the mosque congregation, as confirmed by Diki Irawan, the Director of Ksatria. "Alhamdulillah, we have prepared 230 kg of meat for the mosque congregation, which they can enjoy as a buffet meal," he said during an interview. The congregants at Masjid Sophia come from various backgrounds, with many of them being breadwinning fighters such as minibus drivers, street vendors, bus agents, and parking attendants.

The Qurban Feast for the congregants is a form of gratitude for the Mosque Committee being able to hold the Qurban worship this year. The happiness was expressed by one of the beneficiaries of the Qurban Feast, "It's nice to have a free lunch and be able to taste the Qurban meat even though we still have to work," said Iwan, a parking attendant.

In addition to being a Qurban worship for the Heroes of Goodness, the sacrificial animals also serve as food assistance for the Breadwinning Fighters who are in need. Therefore, the benefits of the Qurban animals from the Heroes of Goodness are expected to bring Extra benefits and Extra blessings, by the grace of Allah.
