AsarNews, Jenin - The Zionist regime of Israel has once again displayed its brutality in the holy land of Al-Quds, Palestine. Israeli forces have killed at least ten Palestinian civilians in the occupied West Bank as a large-scale military operation continues in the Jenin refugee camp since Monday (July 3rd, 2023).

The Israeli bloody onslaught against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank continues, with increasing calls to protect civilian lives and concerns that the tense situation could erupt into another devastating war.

The ground and air assault on the Jenin refugee camp on Monday marked the largest military operation in the occupied territory since the Second Intifada of 2000-2005 - the mass Palestinian uprising against Israeli occupation that spanned several years.

The Jenin Municipality announced that water and electricity services have been cut off from the refugee camp due to the ongoing clashes. The Palestinian Red Crescent stated that at least 3,000 people have fled the Jenin camp.

Deploying hundreds of troops, conducting aerial attacks with drones, and launching rockets into the densely populated camp housing approximately 20,000 people, the Israeli military also targeted infrastructure by demolishing homes and roads.

Two young victims in Jenin have been identified as Nouruddin Husam Yousef Marshoud, 15, and Majdi Younis Saud Ararawi, 17 years old, according to the group Defense for Children International - Palestine. The oldest among the nine victims on Monday was 23-year-old Mohammed Muhannad al-Shami.
